The 2021 ASCAP Screen Awards have honored the High Strung's Josh Malerman for "The Luck You Got," the theme song to Showtime's hit series "Shameless." The High Strung's song was used as the opening theme for the series' entire eleven-season run.  Josh's acceptance speech can be viewed here.

The music licensing community was intrigued by the Dec. 21st launch of Songview, a new one-stop platform presented by performing rights organizations ASCAP and BMI combining both databases for easier searchability.
