Joey Alkes and Chris Fradkin are a songwriting team from Los Angeles, responsible for some of power pop’s best-known and most enduring songs of the ’70s and ’80s. Their combined catalogue includes the Plimsouls’ “A Million Miles Away” and “Now,” Paul Collins Beat’s “All Over the World” and “Making You Mine,” and Phil Seymour’s “Talk to Me.”
In addition to songwriting, Alkes currently resides in Pasadena where he manages recording artists, and Fradkin is a lecturer at the University of California, Merced.
